Foothills Baptist Church (a Southern Baptist

inner city church in the large and growing

Qualifications
The ability to manage a
youth pastor, paid employees and volunteers.
Ordained or actively pursuing ordination.
Ten or more years experience in an evangelical
Bible believing teaching ministry.
Seminary or equivalent experience. Preach
the whole word of God. Preside when present at
the general and special worship services of the
church; arrange for pulpit supplies, special
speakers, and special services in conjunction
with the Board of Deacons. Administer the
ordinances. Shepherd the flock.
Exercise the general oversight of the church and
all departments and auxiliary organizations.
Be ex-officio member of all boards and
committees.
A formal job description
will be written in conjunction with the new
minister based upon his strengths and abilities.
Compensation package will be commensurate with
education and experience.

Full-time Youth Pastor Position
Job Description: Seeking a
FT pastor
to oversee and lead our children's
and youth ministry. We currently average 45
children and 15 youth, and are
seeking someone who is passionate for, and has a
vision for the next
generation.
Duties include: preaching and teaching, training
of the volunteer staff,
developing a curriculum, and working in a team
ministry setting, to
further the Kingdom of God through our local
church body. Whoever joins
our
team will have strong support from the pastoral
staff, the leadership
team and the volunteer staff.
Requirements: M.Div graduate or current
student; Southern Baptist beliefs and
agreement to KAC’s Statement of Faith,
Mission Statement, and By-Laws.
